Bom, eu uso Ubuntu 10.04, mas não é de todo diferente do KDuXP. Já tentei pedir ajuda no fórum do Ubuntu, mas ninguém sabe me responder... então eu vou pedir ajuda aqui mesmo.

Bom, recentemente ganhei uma graphic tablet *-*, uma C3 Tech TB141. Eu instalei, antes mesmo de tê-la, o driver do Xorg-Edgers: WizardPen. Talvez seja por isso que eu pluguei e ela funcionou. Porém eu tenho dual-boot com o Windows. Lá eu instalei o driver da tablet e notei um negócio muito interessante: a pressão. Pra quem não sabe, a pressão é um negócio que torna o desenho mais real. Quanto mais pressão você põe na caneta, mais grosso sai o traço (dependendo de como você ajusta). Isso funciona no Photoshop e no GIMP lá no Windows. Porém, no Linux não está funcionando. No Linux o traço sai meio tremido, fica feio e não tem reconhecimento de pressão.

Então instalei todos os drivers possíveis do Xorg-Edgers, desde Wacom, Aiptek e qualquer outro driver. Porém, num blog que eu acompanho, de um desenhista (Mozart Couto, adepto do Linux e GIMP), ele postou sobre um driver de tablet pra Linux. (http://blogdodesenhador.blogspot.com/20 ... linux.html) E é justamente o driver que eu precisava.

A minha tablet ela usa a tecnologia Waltop e tem uns negócios de MacroKey Manager, que são alguns atalhos para abrir programas e talz. Eu baixei o driver, porém o método de instalação não é dos mais fáceis e, pelas pastas, só se aplica até o kernel 2.6.30.1... Mas meu kernel do Ubuntu é o 2.6.32-27... Bom, do mesmo jeito eu tentei instalar usando o método do kernel 2.6.30.1. Ele fala para copiar dois arquivos para a pasta:
/usr/src/linux-2.6.30.X/drivers/hid
No caso do Ubuntu: /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-27/drivers/hid
E então o arquivo fala:

Já tentei calibrar, mas vou ver aí se tem qualquer coisa que não tentei. :/

Bem, estive tentando verificar,,,,coloquei configurações no KDuXP-Final para tablet,,,,mas sem o dispositivo não tenho como saber e colocar realmente para funcionar.....

Hehe, recebi uma tablet de um cliente para conserto, e ao colocar ela no KDuXPv1.98-Final LTS , hummm, eu acho que funcionou tudo........foi só espetar na usb......

Ah, desculpa a grande demora pra responder. Pois é, eu vou procurar baixar o novo KDuXP pra ver isso aí...
O seu teste, Suporte, foi mais ou menos válido. Primeiro: minha tablet funciona no Ubuntu, mas não completamente... (agora ela deixou de funcionar, sabe-se lá porque. No Windows funciona perfeitamente). Segundo: O KolourPaint não é um programa que tem a opção de pressão, então nem dá pra fazer teste com ele.

É o seguinte, a maioria das tablets do mercado possuem um "identificador de pressão", ou seja, ela identifica a pressão que você põe na caneta. A TB141 identifica 1024 níveis de pressão, mas esse recurso não funciona no Linux. A tablet pode até funcionar, mas a pressão é que deixa o desenho mais bonito, mais real...

Mas fica tranquilaço, Suporte, eu vou baixar o KDu novo e postar um feedback. Se a minha tablet funcionar, podescrer que o KDu vai estar praticamente garantido como SO do meu computador.

É, foi uma mancada minha não ter informado isso... O GIMP é perfeito pra testar a pressão... Mas tudo bem...

Se esse recurso de tablet estiver incluído nos KDus novos, dá pra testar aqui mesmo e eu mesmo mando um feedback.

Estou baixando o KDu Small para testar e mais tarde eu baixo o KDu Completo...

No KDu-Small não tinha mais espaço nenhum para os modulos......acho que não vai rodar,,,,mas eu não testei pelo mesmo motivo....
